Avro Heritage Museum - Thomas Hardie Commercials.

Recently, we shared with you an update concerning a visit to the Avro Heritage Museum in Woodford, Stockport. 

Whilst there, we were granted the opportunity to partake in a rare photo opportunity featuring the Avro Vulcan bomber, last flown back in 1983, alongside our specially commissioned, VE Day 80, Volvo Aero truck.

Following a comprehensive refurbishment back in 2016, the aircraft now looks exactly as it would have done when it rolled out of the Woodford Flight Sheds in 1963. 

The photograph displays how enormous the aircraft is, and makes the Aero tractor unit look almost miniature in comparison!
